Line 660 runs every half hour between Zell am See (train station) and Kaprun. From the bus stop, you can reach the entrance to the gorge in just a few minutes.
Yes, follow the bike path from Kaprun towards Kapruner Tal and continue following the signs to Sigmund Thun Gorge. There are bike racks at the entrance. E-bike riders can recharge their batteries free of charge—charging cables for the most common models are available.
Sigmund Thun Klamm is 320m (350yd or 1050ft) long and has 263 steps.
Not in good weather—at most, you can expect a few drops of rain, which are actually refreshing in summer. In case of rain, ponchos (€2) can be purchased at the ticket office.
There are small stops and a bench available.
When temperatures are high, it is refreshingly cool in the gorge. In spring and fall, it can be quite chilly—a jacket is recommended.

In general, the gorge is open (during operating hours) regardless of the weather. In exceptional circumstances, such as heavy rain or thunderstorms, temporary closures may occur.
Due to the narrow gorge, other visitors, and the risk of falling, drones are not permitted in the gorge.
