Embark on a journey through a natural wonder shaped by water over thousands of years. From the entrance to the gorge, the canyon gradually narrows, and you’ll find yourself captivated by the water. Take your time and relax. After 263 steps and 320 meters—about 15 to 20 minutes—you’ll have crossed the gorge and will find yourself standing in front of the dam of the Klammsee.
From there, you can either walk around the Klammsee, hike up to the Bürgkogel, or take the loop trail back toward the parking lot and bus stop.
Please note: The gorge can only be walked in one direction—from the bottom to the top.
