Gorge Breakfast

Water is pure energy! The more roaring and lively, the more refreshing the revitalising energy shower. Look forward to this incomparable freshness kick, which – we promise you – will last the whole day.

From 12 June to 11 September 2025, you can take a morning walk through the Sigmund Thun Gorge every Thursday from 8.30 am. This is crowned with a breakfast in the Klammsee Stüberl on the banks of the turquoise-coloured gorge lake. The breakfast consists of the finest ingredients from the region and is served on the sun terrace in good weather.

The Sigmund Thun Gorge is not very popular in the morning hours; admission is only possible by prior appointment. Having this impressive natural spectacle to yourself or sharing it with just a few other early risers is an unforgettable experience.

The Klammsee Stüberl has a sunny terrace and a large children’s playground: it is also the starting point for further hikes or you can return to the starting point at the entrance to the gorge after breakfast.
