Today, May 8th, 2026, the time had finally come again after our winter break: Right on time at 9 a.m., we welcomed the first guests of the year to the Sigmund Thun Gorge. Thanks to many hours of work and careful preparation – and thanks to the smooth collaboration with our partners – we were able to get the gorge ready in time, ensuring it is both safe and beautiful.
Starting immediately, the gorge is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in May and June – we look forward to welcoming you, whether for a leisurely hike through the gorge, a hike up the Bürgkogel, or a walk to Klammsee.
Due to a sporting event, the Sigmund Thun Gorge will open at 1pm on September 12th 2026.
