“What we do today determines what the world will look like tomorrow.” There is no better way to sum up what we have set out to achieve as the “Grüne Klamm 2025” working group than with this quote from Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach: namely, to develop measures that will help preserve the Sigmund Thun Gorge. And at the same time, to raise awareness among young and old alike of the need to treat our natural environment responsibly.

Gorge in Winter

The Sigmund-Thun Gorge is now on Winter Break

A heartfelt thank you to all our visitors for the many unforgettable moments and the wonderful, thrilling experiences shared in the midst of nature’s power.

Now it’s time for peace and quiet – ice, snow, and silence take the stage as the gorge rests and prepares for nature’s renewal.

We look forward to welcoming you again around the beginning of May 2026!
